As many of you know the Berks Peace Community has held a weekly peace vigil on the Penn Street Bridge every Friday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm (5-6 pm in summer) for the last 3 1/2 years. The response has been amazingly positive, though our numbers are sometimes few.
So please come join us with as many friends and neighbors as you can muster, and SPREAD THE WORD! You can park in the RACC parking lots under the bridge at Front Street.

One of KADC's own, Alan "Breezy" Brintzenhoff was recently diagnosed with cancer. The Kutztown Area Democratic Club's Miscellaneous Committee will be showing The Big Lebowski (extended version) at the Kutztown Strand to help raise money for his treatment. For all those attending the private screening of The Big Lebowski for the Breezy Project, the Miscellaneous Committee invites (encourages) you to attend the after party being held at the
Kutztown Tavern immediately following the screening. There will be a cash bar with hors d’oeuvres provided at no cost by the Friends of Breezy. A generous percentage of all drink sales will go directly to
the Breezy Fund. If you still have any money at the end of the evening... leave it there.
