Committee People

The Berks Dems are your elected representatives in the Berks County Democratic Party, with one Committeeman and one Committeewoman position for each precinct. Some precincts also have Delegates at Large. Eight committee people are also members of the State Committee, representing Berks Dems at the State party level.

The County Committee is divided into six regions for organizing purposes.  Contact your Committee Person or Region Coordinator to get involved.

Regional Organization

The county is broken down into regions comprising of the PA Legislative Districts. Each region has a coordinator who is responsible for the region and its activities.

Region A (Legislative Districts 124, 125 and 187)

This region includes the Townships of Albany, Centre, Greenwich, Longswamp, Maidencreek, Maxatawny, Ontelaunee, Perry, Richmond, Tilden and Windsor and the Borough of Centerport, Hamburg, Kutztown, Leesport, Lenhartsville, Lyons, Shoemakersville, and Topton.

Region B (Legislative District 127)

This region comprises of the City of Reading and the Boroughs of Kenhorst and West Reading.

Region C (Legislative District129)

This region includes the Townships of Bern, Bethel, Heidelberg, Jefferson, Lower Heidelberg, Marion, North Heidelberg, Penn, South Heidelberg, Spring (Precincts  01, 03, 05, 06, 09, 10, 11, and 12), Tulpehocken, Upper Bern and Upper Tulpehocken and the Borough of Bernville, Robesonia, Sinking Spring, Strausstown, Wernersville, and Womelsdorf.

Region D (Legislative District 126)

This region includes Alsace Township, part of Exeter Township (Precinct 5), Lower Alsace Township and Muhlenberg Township. It also consists of Laureldale Borough, Mount Penn Borough and St. Lawrence Borough.

Region E (Legislative District 128)

This region includes the Townships of Brecknock, Caernarvon, Cumru, Exeter (Precincts 02, 04, and 10), Robeson and Spring (Precincts 02, 04, 07 and 08) and the Boroughs of Mohnton, New Morgan, Shillington, and Wyomissing.

Region F (Legislative Districts 130, 134)
